How to log in to ChefMaison (web version recommended)

To ensure you can access your account correctly, we recommend using the web browser (not the app) for now, as the app is currently undergoing improvements and may contain bugs. 👉 Open your browser (Chrome or Safari) and go to the ChefMaison website.

Important before logging in

If you are already logged in, please make sure to log out first:

Go to your Dashboard or Inbox
Click on “Log out”

This ensures there are no conflicts between accounts.

Login options

You can log in in three ways:

Login with Email
Login with Google
Login with Apple 👉 Important: Please remember the method you used when you first created your account. When logging in again, you must use the same login method (Email, Google, or Apple) that you originally registered with. If you try a different method, the system may create or open a different account, and your data (messages, bookings, and history) will not appear.

Instead of going to a restaurant, a chef comes to your location to cook a customized menu for you and your guests. The experience includes menu planning, ingredient sourcing, cooking on-site, serving, and kitchen cleanup. ChefMaison helps you easily find and book chefs for different types of experiences, such as:

Private dinners at home
Vacation dining experiences
Multi-day chef services
Special occasions and celebrations
Corporate events

Cancellation Policy for chefs

Once you accept a booking, both the client and ChefMaison rely on your commitment. The client planned an event, invited guests, and built their experience around your presence. We understand that unexpected situations can happen, and our goal is not to be punitive. However, we also have a responsibility to protect clients and maintain a platform they can trust. Before accepting a booking, you are always free to accept or decline a request without any penalty. Declining a request does not affect your profile visibility, ranking, or reputation on ChefMaison. Canceling an accepted booking can have a significant impact on the client, who may have planned an important occasion and now has limited time to find another chef or reorganize their event.

||| For this reason, we encourage chefs to accept bookings only when they are fully confident they can deliver the service.

We also recognize that genuine emergencies can occur, such as serious illness, accidents, or family emergencies. In these situations, we ask that you contact our Operations team as soon as possible so we can support you, assist the client, and minimize the impact on everyone involved.

How cancellations work

Finding/Booking a chef

Finding a chef on ChefMaison is simple and designed to help you discover the right chef for your event. You can browse our chefs, explore menu ideas, and choose the chef that fits your needs.

Browse chefs

Start in our Home, by typing the name of your city.

A list of available chefs in that location will appear, along with some of their menu ideas and specialties. Select the chef you like best, and start chatting with them!

Don’t know which chef to choose?

No problem! ChefMaison can choose the right chef for you. Simply fill out the request form with a few details about your event, and we’ll match you with suitable chefs.

Is it possible to call my chef in the app?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ChefMaison allows you to communicate with your chef using the built-in chat and videocall feature. However, phone calls outside the platform (such as WhatsApp or personal calls) are not supported.

How can I call the chef / use the videocall feature?

You can start a videocall directly from your chat with the chef.

Steps to start a call:

Open your conversation with the chef in ChefMaison
Click the video call icon in the chat
Wait for the chef to join the call During the call, you can use both audio and video to discuss your event in real time.

When to use videocalls

Videocalls are useful to:

Discuss menu ideas more clearly
Align on event expectations
Clarify special requests or dietary needs
Get to know the chef before confirming the booking

How do I enable audio and video in the ChefMaison app?

|| To use videocalls in the ChefMaison app, you need to allow access to your microphone and camera on your device. Below are the steps for both Android and iOS.

We know that plans don't always work out. Life happens, and we've designed our cancellation policy to be as fair and transparent as possible. This guide explains:

How cancellations work

You can cancel your booking at any time. The amount refunded depends on how far in advance you cancel. The earlier you cancel, the higher your refund. This is because chefs begin preparing well before the event by:

Planning your menu
Purchasing ingredients
Reserving time in their schedule
Organizing staff and logistics when required

Standard bookings (chef quote below €3,000)
