How do I leave a review?
Sharing your experience helps other guests choose the right chef with confidence — and it's quick and easy to do.
When and how you'll be asked
After every completed event, we automatically send you an invitation to leave a review — both in the chat with your chef and by email. Depending on the request, you may be asked to leave your review on:
- Trustpilot
- Google (accept also photos)
These are independent, public review platforms, so your feedback is visible beyond ChefMaison as well — it's a genuine, verified review, not just an internal rating.
Why we ask you to review us on Google and Trustpilot specifically
As a growing startup, building credibility and visibility online is genuinely important for us — reviews on public platforms like Google and Trustpilot help future guests discover and trust ChefMaison in a way an internal rating alone can't. That said, your review doesn't just stay there: every review is also automatically replicated inside ChefMaison, directly on your chef's profile, so it works for both of us — helping ChefMaison grow, and helping your chef get discovered.
A thank-you for your time
As a thank you for leaving a review, we send you a voucher — valid for 2 years, and usable with any chef, anywhere in the world on ChefMaison. It's a small way of saying thanks for helping us grow, and for helping your chef get the recognition they deserve.
What happens after you submit your review
At the moment you are leaving your review, dont forget to say your chef´s name. Once you submit it, we will replicate your review automatically on your chef's ChefMaison profile. There's nothing further you need to do — no separate submission inside ChefMaison, and no need to repeat yourself in multiple places.
Why we ask for a review
Your review does two important things:
- Helps other guests — future clients browsing ChefMaison rely on real reviews from people like you to choose the right chef for their own occasion, with confidence.
- Supports your chef — a great review is one of the best ways to recognize a chef who made your event special, and it directly helps them get discovered by more clients in the future.
What to include in a helpful review
While any honest feedback is valuable, reviews tend to be most useful to future guests when they mention things like:
- What the occasion was and how the chef tailored the experience to it
- Specific dishes or menu highlights
- How the chef communicated and planned the event with you beforehand
- Anything that made the evening feel personal or memorable
Can I edit or remove my review?
Since reviews are submitted through Trustpilot or Google rather than directly inside ChefMaison, any edits or removals need to be made through that platform directly. If you run into any issues with this, feel free to contact us at operations@chefmaison.com and we'll help however we can.
💡 Leaving a review takes just a minute, and it makes a real difference — both for the next guest deciding who to book, and for the chef who made your event special.
