Can I change my booking after paying?

Yes — changes may still be possible after payment, depending on the chef’s availability and the type of change requested.

What can usually be changed

After payment, you can still discuss adjustments directly with the chef, such as:

  • Number of guests
  • Dietary requirements
  • Menu updates or dish changes
  • Timing adjustments
  • Small event details

Changes that may be more difficult

Some changes may require additional approval or a new proposal, especially:

  • Changing the event date
  • Adding extra days or meals
  • Changing the location
  • Large increases in guest count

These changes may affect pricing, staffing, ingredient planning, or chef availability.

How to request changes

  1. Open your booking on ChefMaison
  2. Go to the chat with your chef
  3. Explain the changes you would like to make
  4. The chef will confirm what is possible and may send an updated proposal if needed

Important

Chefs often begin preparing ingredients and organizing their schedules shortly after payment is completed. For this reason, we recommend requesting any changes as early as possible.

Changes after payment are not guaranteed, but chefs will always try to accommodate reasonable requests whenever possible.
