# How do I accept a proposal?

Once you receive a proposal from a chef, you can review all the details directly on the platform.
## To accept a proposal:
1. Open the proposal in your ChefMaison account
2. Click in: View quote & confirm
3. Review the menu, pricing, guest count, and service details
4. Click the **Pay button**
5. Choose if you like the cancellation insurance
6. Complete the payment process to confirm your booking
## Important
A proposal is only fully confirmed after payment is completed.
Until payment is made:
* The chef may still receive other requests
* Availability is not guaranteed
* Changes can still be discussed
Once payment is successfully completed, your booking becomes confirmed and both you and the chef will receive a confirmation.
