# How can I delete a chat conversation?

There isn't a way to permanently delete a conversation, but you can close it or archive it — here's how each works.
## To close a conversation (mark it as unavailable)
1. Open the **chat**.
2. Tap the **3 dots (⋯)** in the top right corner.
3. Select **"Mark not available."**
This closes the request — the client won't be able to book you on it.

## To archive a conversation (without closing or deleting it)
If you'd just like to tidy up your inbox without closing the request itself:
1. Go to **Messages**.
2. Find the conversation you want to archive.
3. **Swipe the conversation to the left** — this will show two options, **Pin** or **Archive**.
4. Tap **Archive**.

## Where to find archived conversations
To find a conversation you've archived, go to **Messages → Archived**.

If you want to unarchived, you can swipe the conversation to the left, and select: Restore

> 💡 Archiving is great for keeping your inbox organized without losing anything — the conversation stays fully accessible under Archived whenever you need it again.
